Dark berry fruit dominates a smooth, medium-bodied palate with flavours of black currant, red plums, black olives and notes of bramble, star anise and tobacco leaf. The mid-palate is vivid, focused and elegant, showing fine-grained, lithe tannins and integrated acidity. Graphite, cloves, black cardamom and hints of dark chocolate and sage linger on a fine finish.
