Prazo de Roriz is a red wine, produced with red grape varieties of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz from the Douro Region. The musts have being macerated, for a short period in contact of the stalks and the skins, in granitic tanks at low temperatures prior to being fermented in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperatures. The wine has maturated in new French oak barrels for 6 months, in contact with fine lees, and has been subjected to a regular stirring on the lasts 4 months prior to being stabilized, filtrated and bottled.
