Elise from Moulin de Gassac is made from 50 % Syrah- and 50 % Merlot grapes, grown around Villeveyrac in the Langedoc region. After the harvest, the grapes are removed from their bunches. The wine ferments according to the Médoc tradition – long fermentation for 15-20 days at 28-33 °C temperature. No filtering. The wine is stored for 7-8 months in oak barrels before being bottled.
